Meet the President

Asusena Resendiz Ms. Asusena Reséndiz takes pride in being a first generation born American citizen of an immigrant family from San Luís Potosí, México. Upward Bound Program, Asusena was a consecutive two-term President of Sigma Delta Pi Hispanic Honor Society, an active member of A.E.L.A. (Asociación Estudiantil de Latinos Americanos) and T.T.U. She attributes her dedicated work ethic and strong understanding of small business to her entrepreneur parents, Juan and Cipriana Reséndiz. They showed her and her five siblings the importance of working towards the American dream while staying true to their culture.

Asusena is proficient in three different languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and has dedicated much of her time to serving the underprivileged in her community. Thanks to the USHCC Foundation Institute, she has obtained certifications in Nonprofit Management, Nonprofit Board Governance, Nonprofit Leadership Growth, Personal and Organizational Branding and Nonprofit Lobbying and Advocacy through the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
